Statement of Faith

Revised 7/29/2026

Who We Are

Bristol Raceway Ministries (BRM) is a non-denominational Christian ministry made up of believers from various Christian traditions who share a commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to glorify God by sharing the love of Jesus at Bristol Motor Speedway and throughout the Tri-Cities community through fellowship, pastoral care, evangelism, prayer, and practical service. Every volunteer, program, and outreach effort exists to fulfill this mission and demonstrate the love of Christ to others.

This Statement of Faith reflects the biblical beliefs that guide BRM’s ministry, teaching, leadership, and service.

What We Believe

Scripture

We believe the Bible, consisting of all sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is the final authority for faith, doctrine, Christian living, and ministry practice.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for the sins of humanity, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, brings conviction of sin, gives new life through regeneration, equips believers for Christian service, and empowers the Church to carry out Christ’s mission.

Humanity and Salvation

We believe all people are created in the image of God but are separated from Him through sin. Salvation, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God are offered through faith in Jesus Christ alone, by God’s grace and not through human works.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of all believers redeemed through Jesus Christ and is called to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, serve others, and demonstrate God’s love throughout the world.

Serving with Bristol Raceway Ministries

Every volunteer represents Bristol Raceway Ministries. Whether praying with a guest, greeting fans, assisting with ministry activities, or simply wearing the BRM name at the track, each person plays a part in reflecting the heart and mission of our ministry.

BRM welcomes individuals who desire to serve others with compassion, kindness, and respect. Those who serve with us come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but everyone who volunteers with BRM is asked to respect the Christian beliefs that guide our ministry and to serve in a manner that honors our mission, our guests, and one another.

Volunteers are not expected to represent personal beliefs or opinions on behalf of BRM. However, because volunteers serve as representatives of the ministry, they are expected to conduct themselves in a way that does not intentionally contradict or undermine BRM’s Christian mission, beliefs, or witness.

We encourage every volunteer to reflect the character described in Galatians 5:22–23: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, along with honesty, integrity, humility, compassion, and a servant’s heart.

Marriage and Human Sexuality

Every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Consistent with our understanding of Scripture, we believe marriage is the lifelong covenant union of one man and one woman, sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage, and God created humanity as male and female by design.

These convictions guide BRM’s teaching, pastoral care, leadership, and ministry practices.

Final Authority

This Statement of Faith summarizes BRM’s core beliefs but is not intended to be an exhaustive statement of every biblical teaching. Scripture remains the final authority in matters of faith, doctrine, morality, and Christian conduct. The BRM Board of Directors is responsible for determining how these beliefs are understood and applied within the ministry’s doctrine, practices, and policies.
